“Kafe Louverture, Thank you! While traveling from Raleigh to Elizabeth City, we found your restaurant on Google and decided to make a 16-mile detour. It was the best decision we could have made. We thoroughly enjoyed the sweet potato, beef and cheese, chicken and cheese, beef, jerk shrimp, and oxtail patties. The vegetable soup was light, creamy, and paired perfectly with our meal patties. The pineapple ginger juice was refreshing and an excellent mixer with gin over ice. Thank you for the wonderful food and service. I hope to return soon to try your oxtail plates.”

“I was waiting around for my sons' next basketball game and wanted to try something different. I found Kafe Louverture. I love Jamaican patties, and Kafe offered Haitian Patties. The location is within walking distance of the Rocky Mount Event Center. It was Saturday, so they only had Chicken, Chicken & Cheese, Beef, Beef & Cheese, and sweet potato. I ordered the chicken. They also sell fresh juice. I ordered the hibiscus and ginger. The prices are great. The crew was so polite and welcoming. Great atmosphere.”

“Stopped by after seeing them mentioned by an employee on "X" (formerly Twitter). Did not disappoint! Enjoyed an oxtail pattie, a jerk pattie, a side of pikliz and an oxtail bowl. The pattie crusts were soft and flaky, while the meat fillings were tender and flavorful. The pikliz was some of the best slaw I've ever tasted. The oxtail bowl included wonderfully fluffy rice and tender oxtail along with more of the tangy pikliz. Absolutely try them when in Rocky Mount, NC!🤌🏾”

“We ordered Beef & Cheese, Oxtail, Chicken, Jerk Shrimp, and Sweet Potato Patties. The exterior of the patties were crispy, flakey and the various fillings were seasoned, and extremely flavorful. The Vegetable Joumou, Soup was excellent as well as the Ginger Lemonade, and Watermelon Lemonade. The customer service was great and the owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. A must try, and we will be returning very soon.”
